The Breath and Water Club

The Breath and Water Club began in December of 2004, and was active for several years. The Club was a group of people practicing something I suggested and that I myself wanted support for, something I used to teach in my classes. Here’s what I wrote when I introduced the idea of the Breath and Water Club:

“Some of you may remember the following suggestion I gave in my classes: Drink 8 glasses of water a day and breathe for 15 minutes twice a day. Do that for 6 months and your life will change in ways you never dreamed of.

In all the years I suggested that, only 3 people took me up on it and completed the entire six months. Each of them experienced amazing changes in their life — in employment, in attitude, in relationships, in income — everything.

I myself never managed to complete 6 months of the regimen. But I’ve started again, and I’m hopeful I can make breathing for 15 minutes twice a day and drinking 8 glasses of water a part of my daily routine.

Would you care to join me? We can have a club!”

People did join me, and as you read the newsletters, you’ll see for yourself that many, many readers did indeed experience amazing changes in their lives, changes they attribute to their Breath and Water practice.

In 2009, The Breath and Water Club morphed into Tenacity Notes, which then morphed into Signal Fire in 2018, which is a name I revived from a print newsletter I published even before The Breath and Water Club. It’s a long story!

Breath and water aplenty at the Gulf of Mexico!
